Acts 21:40
ପାଉଲ ସନୋପତିଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅନୁମତି ପାଇ ପାହାଚ଼ ଉପରେ ଠିଆ ହାଇଗେଲେ। ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ହାତ ରେ ସଙ୍କତେ କରିବା ହତେୁ ସମସ୍ତେ ଅତି ଶାନ୍ତ ହାଇଗେଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସେ ଏବ୍ରୀ ଭାଷା ରେ କହିଲେ।

ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର କୃଶବିଦ୍ଧ ହବୋ ସ୍ଥାନ ନଗରର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହାଇେଥିବା କାରଣରୁ ଅନକେ ଯିହୂଦୀ ସହେି ସଙ୍କତେ ପଢିଲେ। ଏହା ଏବ୍ରୀ, ଲାଟିନ୍ ଓ ଗ୍ରୀକ୍ ଭାଷା ରେ ଲଖାେ ହାଇେଥିଲା।

ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିଜର କୃଶ ବୋହି କପାଳସ୍ଥଳ ନାମକ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଗଲେ। ଏବ୍ରୀ ଭାଷା ରେ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ 'ଗଲଗଥା' କହନ୍ତି।

ପୀଲାତ ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ଏହି କଥା ଶୁଣିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ 'ପ୍ରସ୍ତରମଣ୍ଡପ' ନାମକ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆଣିଲେ। ଏବ୍ରୀ ଭାଷା ରେ ଏହାର ନାମ 'ଗବ୍ବଥା' ଅଟେ। ପୀଲାତ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରମଣ୍ଡପରେ ଥିବା ବିଚାରସନ ରେ ବସିଲେ।
