ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରିବି, ତୁମ୍ଭ କଳପାଟି ରେ ଅଙ୍କୁଶ ଦବେି। ଆଉ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଅଶ୍ବ ଏବଂ ଅଶ୍ବାରୋହୀଗଣଙ୍କୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବି। ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ବେଶ ରେ ସୁସଜ୍ଜିତ ଥିବେ ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତ ଫଳକ, ଢ଼ାଲ ଓ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଧାରଣ କରିଥିବେ।

ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଜ ବାସସ୍ଥାନ ସୁଦୂର ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗସ୍ଥ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତଭାଗରୁ ଆସିବ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଅନକେ ଜାତିମାନେ ଆସିବେ। ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଅଶ୍ବାେୃରାହଣ କରିଥିବା ମହାସମାଜ ଓ ପରାକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ ସୈନ୍ଯସାମନ୍ତ ଥିବେ।

'ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମାଢ଼ି ରେ ଅଙ୍କୁଶ ଦବେି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସୋର୍ତ ସମୂହର ମତ୍ସ୍ଯ ସକଳକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦହରେ କାତି ରେ ଲଗାଇବି। ଆଉ ସହେି ସୋର୍ତ ସମୂହ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ କାତି ରେ ଲାଗିଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ମତ୍ସ୍ଯଙ୍କୁ ବାହାର କରି ଉପରକୁ ଆଣିବା।

ଅମତ୍ସିଯ ଯିହୁଦାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର ଠୁଳ କଲେ, ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବଂଶାନୁୟାଯୀ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦଳଭୁକ୍ତ କଲେ ଓ ସେ ସନୋଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ ଓ ସନୋପତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହେି ଦଳଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ରେ ରଖିଲେ। ସହେି ନେତାମାନେ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନର ଆଗତ ସମସ୍ତ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ରେ ଥିଲେ। ଯେଉଁ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୈନ୍ଯରୂପେ ମନୋନୀତ କରାୟାଇଥିଲା, ସମାନେେ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷ ବା ତଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଧ ବଯସର ଥିଲେ। ସର୍ବ ମାଟେ 3 ,00,000 ଦକ୍ଷ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ଓ ଢ଼ାଲ ସହିତ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଥିଲେ।

ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ମରୁଭୂମିସ୍ଥ ଦୁର୍ଗ ରେ ଗାଦ୍ ପରିବାର ବର୍ଗର କେତଜେଣ ଆସି ସଠାେରେ ବାସ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ବିଦ୍ଯା ରେ ତାଲିମପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଅତି ସାହସୀ ସୈନ୍ଯଗଣ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ଓ ଢ଼ାଲ ଚାଳନା ରେ ଦକ୍ଷ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସିଂହ ପରି ଅତି ଭୟଙ୍କର ଥିଲେ। ପର୍ବତ ରେ ହରିଣ ସଦୃଶ ଦ୍ରୁତ ଗତି ରେ ଦୌଡ଼ି ମଧ୍ଯ ପାରୁଥିଲେ।
