2 Corinthians 10:8
ଏହା ସତ୍ଯ ଯେ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରଦତ୍ତ ଅଧିକାର ବିଷୟ ରେ ଅତ୍ଯଧିକ ଗର୍ବର କଥା କ ହେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହି ଅଧିକାର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବିନାଶ ପାଇଁ ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଧ୍ଯାତ୍ମିକ ଭାବରେ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ମୁଁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ଥର ପାଇଁ ଯାଇଥିଲି, ମୁଁ ପାପୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତର୍କ କରି ଦଇେଥିଲି। ମୁଁ ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଦୂର ରେ ଅଛି ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ପାପୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତର୍କ କରି ଦେଉଛି ଯେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ୟିବି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାପ ପାଇଁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦବେି।

ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏଥିର ସାକ୍ଷୀ। ମାେ କହିବା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ନୁହେଁ ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଶ୍ବାସକୁ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରିତ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରେ ଦୃଢ଼ କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆନନ୍ଦ ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସହକର୍ମୀ।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ବଡ଼ବଡ଼ କଥା କହିଥିଲି, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଲଜ୍ଜା ପାଇ ନାହିଁ। ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ କଥା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଥିଲୁ ତାହା ସତ୍ଯ ବୋଲି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପ୍ରମାଣିତ କଲ। ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ ତିତସଙ୍କଠା ରେ କରିଥିବା ଗର୍ବୋକ୍ତିଗୁଡ଼ିକ ମଧ୍ଯ ସତ୍ଯ।

ଯଦିଓ ମୁଁ ନିଜ ଉପରେ ଗର୍ବ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହିଁଲି ତଥାପି ମୁଁ ମୂର୍ଖ ନୁହେଁ, କାରଣ ମୁଁ ସତ୍ଯକଥା କ ହେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ନିଜ ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ବ କରିବି ନାହିଁ କାରଣ ଲୋକେ ମାେ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଯାହା ଦେଖିଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଶୁଣିଛନ୍ତି ତା ଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ବୋଲି ମାେତେ ଭାବନ୍ତୁ, ଏହା ମୁଁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରେ ନାହିଁ।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ସତ୍ଯର ବିପରୀତ କୌଣସି କାମ କରିବା ନାହିଁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ କବଳେ ସତ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ କିଛି କରି ପାରିବା।

ସହେି ସୁସମାଚାର କହିଥିବାରୁ ଏବେ ମୁଁ କଷ୍ଟ ପାଉଛି। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ନୁହେଁ। ମୁଁ ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିଛି, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ। ମାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଆଶା ଅଛି ଯେ, ସେ ସହେି ବିଷୟଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସହେିଦିନ296 ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ, ଯେଉଁଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ସେ ମାେ ଉପରେ ନ୍ଯସ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ।
