2 Chronicles 30:15
ଏହାପରେ ସମାନେେ ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ମାସର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶତମ ଦିନ ରେ ନିସ୍ତାରପର୍ବର ମଷେଶାବକଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ। ଯାଜକମାନେ ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ। ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ହାମବେଳି ଉପହାର ଆଣିଲେ।

ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ହିଜକିଯ ସମ୍ମିଳିତ ଜନତାକୁ 1 ,000 ବଳଦ ଓ 7,000 ମଷେକୁ ହତ୍ଯାକରି ଭୋଜନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରଦାନ କଲେ। ନେତାମାନେ ସମ୍ମିଳିତ ଜନତାକୁ 1,000 ବଳଦ ଓ 10 ,000 ମଷେ ଦେଲେ। ଅନକେ ଯାଜକମାନେ ପବିତ୍ର ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ।

ଲବେୀୟ ଶିଶୁ, ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ପୁତ୍ର ଓ କନ୍ଯାଗଣ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏହି ସଂଗୃହୀତ ବସ୍ତୁର ଅଂଶ ଲାଭ କରୁଥିଲେ। ଯେଉଁ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ବଂଶର ଇତିହାସ ରେ ତାଲିକାଭୁକ୍ତ ହାଇେଥିଲେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହିପରି କରାଯାଉ ଥିଲା। କାରଣ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ସର୍ବଦା ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜକୁ ପବିତ୍ର ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ରଖୁଥିଲେ।
Ezekiel 16:61
