ଏହାପରେ ଯିହାୟୋଦାରଦା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଯତ୍ନ ନବୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ। ସହେି ଯାଜକମାନେ ଲବେୀୟ ଥିଲେ ଓ ଦାଉଦ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର ରକ୍ଷଣାବେକ୍ଷଣ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ଦଇେଥିଲେ। ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ମାଶାଙ୍କେ ନିଯମର ଆଦେଶ ଅନୁୟାଯୀ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଅଗ୍ନିଦଗ୍ଧ, ଉପହାର ବଳିଦାନ କରୁଥିଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରକାର ଆଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ସହେି ପ୍ରକା ରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଓ ପ୍ରଶଂସାଗାନ ସହକା ରେ ସହେି ଉପହାର ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ।
