ମାତ୍ର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନେ ତାହା ଶୁଣିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ପୂର୍ବ ରୀତି ଅନୁସାରେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରି ଚାଲିଲେ।

ଜାତିମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା କରିଥିବା କାର୍ୟ୍ଯଗୁଡିକ ସମାନେେ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ। ଏଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଦେଶରୁ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ ହେଲେ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଲୋକମାନେ ଆସିଲେ।

ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହି କର୍ମ କରିବ ନାହିଁ, ଏହିରୂପେ ଯେଉଁ ଦବେତାମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷଯ ରେ କହିଥିଲେ, ସହେି ଦବେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମାନେେ ପୂଜା କଲେ।

ସମାନେେ ଆଜି ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ମଧ୍ଯ ପୂର୍ବବିଧି ଅନୁସାରେ ଚଳୁଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରୁ ନାହାନ୍ତି। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ବିଧି ଓ ଆଜ୍ଞା ସମାନେେ ପାଳନ କରୁ ନାହାନ୍ତି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯାକୁବର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ନାମ ଦଇେଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଓ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରୁ ନାହାନ୍ତି।

ଜଣେ କୃଷ୍ଣକାଯ କ'ଣ ଆପଣା ଚର୍ମର ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବଦଳାଇ ପାରିବ ଓ ଚିତାବାଘ କ'ଣ ନିଜର ଦହରେ ଛାପ ବଦଳାଇ ପାରିବ ? ତେଣୁ ହେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସର୍ବଦା କୁକର୍ମ କରିବା ରେ ଅଭ୍ଯସ୍ତ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କବେେ ସୁକର୍ମ କରିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
