ସେତବେେଳେ ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନ ପ୍ରଦେଶର ଗିବିଯା ରେ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଦେଖିଲେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଏଣତେଣେେ ଦୌଡ଼ନ୍ତିକ୍ସ୍ଟଛନ୍ତି।

| Gibeah in | לְשָׁא֔וּל | lĕšāʾûl | leh-sha-OOL |
| of Benjamin | בְּגִבְעַ֖ת | bĕgibʿat | beh-ɡeev-AT |
| looked; | בִּנְיָמִ֑ן | binyāmin | been-ya-MEEN |
| and, behold, | וְהִנֵּ֧ה | wĕhinnē | veh-hee-NAY |
| multitude the | הֶֽהָמ֛וֹן | hehāmôn | heh-ha-MONE |
| melted away, | נָמ֖וֹג | nāmôg | na-MOɡE |
| went they and | וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ | wayyēlek | va-YAY-lek |
| on beating down | וַֽהֲלֹֽם׃ | wahălōm | VA-huh-LOME |
