ମାତ୍ର ସାଦୋକ ଯାଜକ, ଯିହାୟୋଦାରଦାର ପୁତ୍ର ବନାଯ, ନାଥନ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା, ଶିମିଯି, ରଯେି ଓ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ପ୍ରହପୀଗଣ ଅଦୋନିଯଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ଥନ କରି ନ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ଥିଲେ।

ପୁଣି ରାଜା ତାହାର ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଯିହାୟୋଦାର ପୁତ୍ର ବନାଯକୁ ସନୋପତି ପଦ ରେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ କଲେ ଓ ଅବିଯାଥର ପଦ ରେ ସାଦୋକକୁ ଯାଜକ କରି ନିୟୁକ୍ତ କଲେ।
