ଅେମ୍ମାନୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ଦାଉଦ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଅେମ୍ମାନୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେ ଯୋୟାବ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବାହିନୀକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ।

ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ବିଶଷେ ସୈନ୍ଯଗଣଙ୍କର ନେତାମାନଙ୍କର ଏହା ଏକ ତାଲିକା ଅଟେ। ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତାଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯ ରେ ଏହି ତିନି ବୀର ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ପରାକ୍ରମୀ ହାଇେ ଉଠିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଳୋକ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ଥନ କଲେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ରାଜା କଲେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯେ ପ୍ରକାର ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ, ଠିକ୍ ସେ ପ୍ରକା ରେ ଏ ସମସ୍ତ ଘଟିଲା।
