ବନାଯ, କରେଥୀଯ ଓ ପଲେଥୀଯ ରକ୍ଷୀମାନଙ୍କର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ରେ ଥିଲେ। ବନାଯ ଯିହାୟୋଦାରଦାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ। ଆଉ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ସବୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଖ୍ଯ ପଦାଧିକାରୀ ଥିଲେ।
