ଦାଉଦ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଆଉଥରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାର ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହିଲେ, ଦାଉଦ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବ, ସେତବେେଳେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପେଛ ପେଛ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରକୁ ୟିବ ନାହିଁ। ବରଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ରେ ୟାଇ ତୂତ୍ ବୃକ୍ଷ ଆଢୁ଼ଆଳ ରେ ନିଜକୁ ଲୁଚାଅ।

ଦାଉଦ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଆଉଥରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାର ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହିଲେ, ଦାଉଦ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବ, ସେତବେେଳେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପେଛ ପେଛ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରକୁ ୟିବ ନାହିଁ। ବରଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ରେ ୟାଇ ତୂତ୍ ବୃକ୍ଷ ଆଢୁ଼ଆଳ ରେ ନିଜକୁ ଲୁଚାଅ।
