भोलिपल्ट बिहानै उठे यहोशू अनि इस्राएलका समस्त मानिसहरू अनि शित्तीम छाडेर हिंडे। तिनीहरूले यर्दन नदी तिर यात्रा गरे, अनि नदी तर्नु अघि छाउनी हालेर बसे।

हे मेरा मानिसहरु, मोआबको राजा बालाकको दुष्ट योजनालाई याद गर। ती कुरा याद गर जो अबोरको छोरा बिलामले बालाकलाई भनेको थियो। ती कुरा स्मरण गर जो सित्तीमबाट गिलगाल सम्म घटेको थियो। तब मात्र बुझ्नेछौ, परमप्रभुमा उद्धार छ।”
