Psalm 57
1 हे परमेश्वर, मप्रति कृपालु हुनु होस्। दयावान हुनुहोस् किनभने म तपाईंको शरणमा आएकोछु। जबसम्म कष्ट हराँउदैन म तपाईंको संरक्षणमा छु।
2 म सर्वोच्च परमेश्वरलाई उहाँको सहयोगको निम्ति प्रार्थना गर्दछु अनि परमेश्वरले पूर्णतः मेरो हेरचाह गर्नुहुन्छ!
3 स्वर्गबाट उहाँले मलाई साथ दिनुहुन्छ र बचाउँनु हुन्छ। उहाँले मलाई सताउने मानिसहरूलाई परास्त गर्नुहुन्छ। परमेश्वरले मप्रति आफ्नो स्नेहपूर्ण करूणा प्रकट गर्नुहुनेछ।
4 मेरो प्राण विपदमा छ। मेरा शत्रुहरू चारैतिर छन्। तिनीहरू तीखा भालाहरू र काँडाहरू जस्ता दाँत अनि तरवार जस्तो धारिलो जिब्रो लिएर मानिसहरूलाई सिंहहरू जस्तो गर्जनछन्।
5 परमेश्वर, तपाईं स्वर्गभन्दा पनि उच्च हुनुहुन्छ। तपाईंको महिमा पृथ्वी ढाकिएर फैलिन्छ।
6 मेरा शत्रुहरूले मलाई पासोमा पार्ने चेष्टा गरिरहेका थिए। तिनीहरूले मलाई फन्दामा पार्न चेष्टा गरिरहेका छन्।
7 हे परमेश्वर, म तपाईंमा भरोसा राख्छु, जे हुन्छ त्यसको निम्ति म तयार छु। म गाउनेछु अनि तपाईंको प्रशंसाको निम्ति बाजा बजाउँछु।
8 हे मेरो प्राण जाग! वीणा र सितार घन्काएर संगीत प्रारम्भ गर! प्रभात फेरि लगाऊ।
9 हे मेरा स्वामी, म सबैको अघि तपाईंको प्रशंसा गर्छु। प्रत्येक जाति समक्ष तपाईंको विषयमा म स्तुति-गान गर्छु।
10 तपाईंको स्नेहपूर्ण करूणा आकाश माथि-माथि भएको बादलहरूको उचाई भन्दा उच्च छ।
11 हे परमेश्वर तपाईं स्वर्गभन्दा पनि सर्बोउच्च हुनुहोस्। उहाँको महिमाले सारा पृथ्वीलाई ढाक्नदेऊ।

2 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
3 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.
4 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.
5 My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
6 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
7 They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah.
8 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.
9 Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
10 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations.
11 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.
12 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.
