בְּ֭נִי son, BEH-nee אִם if eem תִּקַּ֣ח thou tee-KAHK אֲמָרָ֑י wilt uh-ma-RAI וּ֝מִצְוֹתַ֗י receive OO-mee-ts-oh-TAI תִּצְפֹּ֥ן my teets-PONE אִתָּֽךְ׃ words, ee-TAHK -
לְהַקְשִׁ֣יב that leh-hahk-SHEEV לַֽחָכְמָ֣ה thou la-hoke-MA אָזְנֶ֑ךָ incline oze-NEH-ha תַּטֶּ֥ה thine ta-TEH לִ֝בְּךָ֗ ear LEE-beh-HA לַתְּבוּנָֽה׃ unto la-teh-voo-NA -
כִּ֤י if kee אִ֣ם thou eem לַבִּינָ֣ה criest la-bee-NA תִקְרָ֑א after teek-RA לַ֝תְּבוּנָ֗ה knowledge, LA-teh-voo-NA תִּתֵּ֥ן and tee-TANE קוֹלֶֽךָ׃ liftest koh-LEH-ha -
אִם thou eem תְּבַקְשֶׁ֥נָּה seekest teh-vahk-SHEH-na כַכָּ֑סֶף her ha-KA-sef וְֽכַמַּטְמוֹנִ֥ים as veh-ha-maht-moh-NEEM תַּחְפְּשֶֽׂנָּה׃ silver, tahk-peh-SEH-na -
אָ֗ז shalt az תָּ֭בִין thou TA-veen יִרְאַ֣ת understand yeer-AT יְהוָ֑ה the yeh-VA וְדַ֖עַת fear veh-DA-at אֱלֹהִ֣ים of ay-loh-HEEM תִּמְצָֽא׃ the teem-TSA -
כִּֽי the kee יְ֭הוָה Lord YEH-va יִתֵּ֣ן giveth yee-TANE חָכְמָ֑ה wisdom: hoke-MA מִ֝פִּ֗יו out MEE-PEEOO דַּ֣עַת of DA-at וּתְבוּנָֽה׃ his oo-teh-voo-NA -
וִצְפֹּ֣ן layeth veets-PONE לַ֭יְשָׁרִים up LA-sha-reem תּוּשִׁיָּ֑ה sound too-shee-YA מָ֝גֵ֗ן wisdom MA-ɡANE לְהֹ֣לְכֵי for leh-HOH-leh-hay תֹֽם׃ the tome -
לִ֭נְצֹר keepeth LEEN-tsore אָרְח֣וֹת the ore-HOTE מִשְׁפָּ֑ט paths meesh-PAHT וְדֶ֖רֶךְ of veh-DEH-rek חֲסִידָ֣ו judgment, huh-see-DAHV יִשְׁמֹֽר׃ and yeesh-MORE -
אָ֗ז shalt az תָּ֭בִין thou TA-veen צֶ֣דֶק understand TSEH-dek וּמִשְׁפָּ֑ט righteousness, oo-meesh-PAHT וּ֝מֵישָׁרִ֗ים and OO-may-sha-REEM כָּל judgment, kahl מַעְגַּל and ma-ɡAHL טֽוֹב׃ equity; tove -
כִּֽי wisdom kee תָב֣וֹא entereth ta-VOH חָכְמָ֣ה into hoke-MA בְלִבֶּ֑ךָ thine veh-lee-BEH-ha וְ֝דַ֗עַת heart, VEH-DA-at לְֽנַפְשְׁךָ֥ and leh-nahf-sheh-HA יִנְעָֽם׃ knowledge yeen-AM -
מְ֭זִמָּה shall MEH-zee-ma תִּשְׁמֹ֥ר preserve teesh-MORE עָלֶ֗יךָ ah-LAY-ha תְּבוּנָ֥ה thee, teh-voo-NA תִנְצְרֶֽכָּה׃ understanding teen-tseh-REH-ka -
לְ֭הַצִּ֣ילְךָ deliver LEH-ha-TSEE-leh-ha מִדֶּ֣רֶךְ thee mee-DEH-rek רָ֑ע from ra מֵ֝אִ֗ישׁ the MAY-EESH מְדַבֵּ֥ר way meh-da-BARE תַּהְפֻּכֽוֹת׃ of ta-poo-HOTE -
הַ֭עֹ֣זְבִים leave HA-OH-zeh-veem אָרְח֣וֹת the ore-HOTE יֹ֑שֶׁר paths YOH-sher לָ֝לֶ֗כֶת of LA-LEH-het בְּדַרְכֵי uprightness, beh-dahr-HAY חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ to HOH-shek -
הַ֭שְּׂמֵחִים rejoice HA-seh-may-heem לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת to la-uh-SOTE רָ֑ע do ra יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ evil, YA-ɡEE-loo בְּֽתַהְפֻּכ֥וֹת and beh-ta-poo-HOTE רָֽע׃ delight ra -
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ways uh-SHER אָרְחֹתֵיהֶ֣ם are ore-hoh-tay-HEM עִקְּשִׁ֑ים crooked, ee-keh-SHEEM וּ֝נְלוֹזִ֗ים and OO-neh-loh-ZEEM בְּמַעְגְּלוֹתָֽם׃ they beh-ma-ɡeh-loh-TAHM -
לְ֭הַצִּ֣ילְךָ deliver LEH-ha-TSEE-leh-ha מֵאִשָּׁ֣ה thee may-ee-SHA זָרָ֑ה from za-RA מִ֝נָּכְרִיָּ֗ה the MEE-noke-ree-YA אֲמָרֶ֥יהָ strange uh-ma-RAY-ha הֶחֱלִֽיקָה׃ woman, heh-hay-LEE-ka -
הַ֭עֹזֶבֶת forsaketh HA-oh-zeh-vet אַלּ֣וּף the AH-loof נְעוּרֶ֑יהָ guide neh-oo-RAY-ha וְאֶת of veh-ET בְּרִ֖ית her beh-REET אֱלֹהֶ֣יהָ youth, ay-loh-HAY-ha שָׁכֵֽחָה׃ and sha-HAY-ha -
כִּ֤י her kee שָׁ֣חָה house SHA-ha אֶל inclineth el מָ֣וֶת unto MA-vet בֵּיתָ֑הּ death, bay-TA וְאֶל and veh-EL רְ֝פָאִ֗ים her REH-fa-EEM מַעְגְּלֹתֶֽיהָ׃ paths ma-ɡeh-loh-TAY-ha -
כָּל kahl בָּ֭אֶיהָ that BA-ay-ha לֹ֣א go loh יְשׁוּב֑וּן unto yeh-shoo-VOON וְלֹֽא her veh-LOH יַ֝שִּׂ֗יגוּ return YA-SEE-ɡoo אָרְח֥וֹת again, ore-HOTE חַיִּֽים׃ neither ha-YEEM -
לְמַ֗עַן thou leh-MA-an תֵּ֭לֵךְ mayest TAY-lake בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ walk beh-DEH-rek טוֹבִ֑ים in toh-VEEM וְאָרְח֖וֹת the veh-ore-HOTE צַדִּיקִ֣ים way tsa-dee-KEEM תִּשְׁמֹֽר׃ of teesh-MORE -
כִּֽי the kee יְשָׁרִ֥ים upright yeh-sha-REEM יִשְׁכְּנוּ shall yeesh-keh-NOO אָ֑רֶץ dwell AH-rets וּ֝תְמִימִ֗ים in OO-teh-mee-MEEM יִוָּ֥תְרוּ the yee-WA-teh-roo בָֽהּ׃ land, va -
וּ֭רְשָׁעִים the OO-reh-sha-eem מֵאֶ֣רֶץ wicked may-EH-rets יִכָּרֵ֑תוּ shall yee-ka-RAY-too וּ֝בוֹגְדִ֗ים be OO-voh-ɡeh-DEEM יִסְּח֥וּ cut yee-seh-HOO מִמֶּֽנָּה׃ off mee-MEH-na
