फरिसीहरूले सोधे, “यदि त्यसो भए मोशाले किन एउटा मानिसलाई विवाह विच्छेदको कागज लेखेर आफ्नी पत्नीसित सम्बन्छ विच्छेध दिए?’

அன்றையதினம் அவன் ஒரு அடையாளத்தையும் சொல்லி, இதோ, இந்த பலிபீடம் வெடித்து, அதின்மேல் உள்ள சாம்பல் கொட்டப்பட்டுப்போகும்; கர்த்தர் சொன்னதற்கு இதுவே அடையாளம் என்றான்.

இவையெல்லாம் நிகழும் என்பதற்கான சான்றையும் அந்த தேவமனிதன் காட்டினான். அவன், “இதுதான் கர்த்தர் என்னிடம் சொன்ன அத்தாட்சியாகும். கர்த்தர், ‘இந்த பலிபீடம் வெடித்து இதிலுள்ள சாம்பல் தரையிலேவிழும்’ என்று சொன்னார்” என்றான்.
