अय्यूब 1:7
परमप्रभुले शैतानलाई भन्नुभयो, “अहिलेसम्म तँ कहाँ थिइस्?”शैतानले परमप्रभुलाई जवाफ दियो, “म पृथ्वीकै वरिपरि घुमिरहेको थिँए।”

| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| Satan, | הַשָּׂטָ֖ן | haśśāṭān | ha-sa-TAHN |
| Whence | מֵאַ֣יִן | mēʾayin | may-AH-yeen |
| comest | תָּבֹ֑א | tābōʾ | ta-VOH |
| Satan Then thou? | וַיַּ֨עַן | wayyaʿan | va-YA-an |
| answered | הַשָּׂטָ֤ן | haśśāṭān | ha-sa-TAHN |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the Lord, | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| said, and | וַיֹּאמַ֔ר | wayyōʾmar | va-yoh-MAHR |
| From going to and fro | מִשּׁ֣וּט | miššûṭ | MEE-shoot |
| earth, the in | בָּאָ֔רֶץ | bāʾāreṣ | ba-AH-rets |
| and from walking up and down | וּמֵֽהִתְהַלֵּ֖ךְ | ûmēhithallēk | oo-may-heet-ha-LAKE |
