וַיִּשָּׂ֥א Jacob va-yee-SA יַֽעֲקֹ֖ב went ya-uh-KOVE רַגְלָ֑יו on rahɡ-LAV וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ his va-YAY-lek אַ֥רְצָה journey, AR-tsa בְנֵי and veh-NAY קֶֽדֶם׃ came KEH-dem -
וַיַּ֞רְא he va-YAHR וְהִנֵּ֧ה looked, veh-hee-NAY בְאֵ֣ר and veh-ARE בַּשָּׂדֶ֗ה behold ba-sa-DEH וְהִנֵּה a veh-hee-NAY שָׁ֞ם well shahm שְׁלֹשָׁ֤ה in sheh-loh-SHA עֶדְרֵי the ed-RAY צֹאן֙ field, tsone רֹֽבְצִ֣ים and, roh-veh-TSEEM עָלֶ֔יהָ lo, ah-LAY-ha כִּ֚י there kee מִן were meen הַבְּאֵ֣ר three ha-beh-ARE הַהִ֔וא flocks ha-HEEV יַשְׁק֖וּ of yahsh-KOO הָֽעֲדָרִ֑ים sheep ha-uh-da-REEM וְהָאֶ֥בֶן lying veh-ha-EH-ven גְּדֹלָ֖ה by ɡeh-doh-LA עַל it; al פִּ֥י for pee הַבְּאֵֽר׃ out ha-beh-ARE -
וְנֶֽאֶסְפוּ thither veh-NEH-es-foo שָׁ֣מָּה were SHA-ma כָל all hahl הָֽעֲדָרִ֗ים the ha-uh-da-REEM וְגָלֲל֤וּ flocks veh-ɡa-luh-LOO אֶת gathered: et הָאֶ֙בֶן֙ and ha-EH-VEN מֵעַל֙ they may-AL פִּ֣י rolled pee הַבְּאֵ֔ר ha-beh-ARE וְהִשְׁק֖וּ the veh-heesh-KOO אֶת stone et הַצֹּ֑אן from ha-TSONE וְהֵשִׁ֧יבוּ the veh-hay-SHEE-voo אֶת well's et הָאֶ֛בֶן mouth, ha-EH-ven עַל and al פִּ֥י watered pee הַבְּאֵ֖ר ha-beh-ARE לִמְקֹמָֽהּ׃ the leem-koh-MA -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Jacob va-YOH-mer לָהֶם֙ said la-HEM יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב unto ya-uh-KOVE אַחַ֖י them, ah-HAI מֵאַ֣יִן My may-AH-yeen אַתֶּ֑ם brethren, ah-TEM וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ whence va-YOH-meh-ROO מֵֽחָרָ֖ן be may-ha-RAHN אֲנָֽחְנוּ׃ ye? uh-NA-heh-noo -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he va-YOH-mer לָהֶ֔ם said la-HEM הַיְדַעְתֶּ֖ם unto hai-da-TEM אֶת them, et לָבָ֣ן Know la-VAHN בֶּן ye ben נָח֑וֹר na-HORE וַיֹּֽאמְר֖וּ Laban va-yoh-meh-ROO יָדָֽעְנוּ׃ the ya-DA-eh-noo -
וַיֹּ֥אמֶר he va-YOH-mer לָהֶ֖ם said la-HEM הֲשָׁל֣וֹם unto huh-sha-LOME ל֑וֹ them, loh וַיֹּֽאמְר֣וּ Is va-yoh-meh-ROO שָׁל֔וֹם he sha-LOME וְהִנֵּה֙ well? veh-hee-NAY רָחֵ֣ל And ra-HALE בִּתּ֔וֹ they BEE-toh בָּאָ֖ה said, ba-AH עִם He eem הַצֹּֽאן׃ is ha-TSONE -
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר he va-YOH-mer הֵ֥ן said, hane עוֹד֙ Lo, ode הַיּ֣וֹם it HA-yome גָּד֔וֹל is ɡa-DOLE לֹא yet loh עֵ֖ת high ate הֵֽאָסֵ֣ף day, hay-ah-SAFE הַמִּקְנֶ֑ה neither ha-meek-NEH הַשְׁק֥וּ is hahsh-KOO הַצֹּ֖אן it ha-TSONE וּלְכ֥וּ time oo-leh-HOO רְעֽוּ׃ that reh-OO -
וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֮ they va-yoh-meh-ROO לֹ֣א said, loh נוּכַל֒ We noo-HAHL עַ֣ד cannot, ad אֲשֶׁ֤ר uh-SHER יֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ until yay-ah-seh-FOO כָּל kahl הָ֣עֲדָרִ֔ים all HA-uh-da-REEM וְגָֽלֲלוּ֙ the veh-ɡa-luh-LOO אֶת flocks et הָאֶ֔בֶן be ha-EH-ven מֵעַ֖ל gathered may-AL פִּ֣י together, pee הַבְּאֵ֑ר and ha-beh-ARE וְהִשְׁקִ֖ינוּ till veh-heesh-KEE-noo הַצֹּֽאן׃ they ha-TSONE -
עוֹדֶ֖נּוּ while oh-DEH-noo מְדַבֵּ֣ר he meh-da-BARE עִמָּ֑ם yet ee-MAHM וְרָחֵ֣ל׀ spake veh-ra-HALE בָּ֗אָה with BA-ah עִם them, eem הַצֹּאן֙ Rachel ha-TSONE אֲשֶׁ֣ר came uh-SHER לְאָבִ֔יהָ with leh-ah-VEE-ha כִּ֥י her kee רֹעָ֖ה father's roh-AH הִֽוא׃ sheep: heev -

וַיַּגֵּ֨ד Jacob va-ya-ɡADE יַֽעֲקֹ֜ב told ya-uh-KOVE לְרָחֵ֗ל Rachel leh-ra-HALE כִּ֣י that kee אֲחִ֤י he uh-HEE אָבִ֙יהָ֙ was ah-VEE-HA ה֔וּא her hoo וְכִ֥י father's veh-HEE בֶן brother, ven רִבְקָ֖ה and reev-KA ה֑וּא that hoo וַתָּ֖רָץ he va-TA-rohts וַתַּגֵּ֥ד was va-ta-ɡADE לְאָבִֽיהָ׃ Rebekah's leh-ah-VEE-ha -
וַיְהִי֩ it vai-HEE כִשְׁמֹ֨עַ came heesh-MOH-ah לָבָ֜ן to la-VAHN אֶת pass, et שֵׁ֣מַע׀ when SHAY-ma יַֽעֲקֹ֣ב Laban ya-uh-KOVE בֶּן heard ben אֲחֹת֗וֹ uh-hoh-TOH וַיָּ֤רָץ the va-YA-rohts לִקְרָאתוֹ֙ tidings leek-ra-TOH וַיְחַבֶּק of vai-ha-BEK לוֹ֙ Jacob loh וַיְנַשֶּׁק his vai-na-SHEK ל֔וֹ sister's loh וַיְבִיאֵ֖הוּ son, vai-vee-A-hoo אֶל that el בֵּית֑וֹ he bay-TOH וַיְסַפֵּ֣ר ran vai-sa-PARE לְלָבָ֔ן to leh-la-VAHN אֵ֥ת meet ate כָּל him, kahl הַדְּבָרִ֖ים and ha-deh-va-REEM הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ embraced ha-A-leh -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Laban va-YOH-mer לוֹ֙ said loh לָבָ֔ן to la-VAHN אַ֛ךְ him, ak עַצְמִ֥י Surely ats-MEE וּבְשָׂרִ֖י thou oo-veh-sa-REE אָ֑תָּה art AH-ta וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב my va-YAY-shev עִמּ֖וֹ bone EE-moh חֹ֥דֶשׁ and HOH-desh יָמִֽים׃ my ya-MEEM -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Laban va-YOH-mer לָבָן֙ said la-VAHN לְיַֽעֲקֹ֔ב unto leh-ya-uh-KOVE הֲכִֽי Jacob, huh-HEE אָחִ֣י Because ah-HEE אַ֔תָּה thou AH-ta וַֽעֲבַדְתַּ֖נִי art va-uh-vahd-TA-nee חִנָּ֑ם my hee-NAHM הַגִּ֥ידָה brother, ha-ɡEE-da לִּ֖י shouldest lee מַה thou ma מַּשְׂכֻּרְתֶּֽךָ׃ therefore mahs-koor-TEH-ha -
וּלְלָבָ֖ן Laban oo-leh-la-VAHN שְׁתֵּ֣י had sheh-TAY בָנ֑וֹת two va-NOTE שֵׁ֤ם daughters: shame הַגְּדֹלָה֙ the ha-ɡeh-doh-LA לֵאָ֔ה name lay-AH וְשֵׁ֥ם of veh-SHAME הַקְּטַנָּ֖ה the ha-keh-ta-NA רָחֵֽל׃ elder ra-HALE -
וְעֵינֵ֥י was veh-ay-NAY לֵאָ֖ה tender lay-AH רַכּ֑וֹת eyed; RA-kote וְרָחֵל֙ but veh-ra-HALE הָֽיְתָ֔ה Rachel ha-yeh-TA יְפַת was yeh-FAHT תֹּ֖אַר beautiful TOH-ar וִיפַ֥ת vee-FAHT מַרְאֶֽה׃ and mahr-EH -
וַיֶּֽאֱהַ֥ב Jacob va-yeh-ay-HAHV יַֽעֲקֹ֖ב loved ya-uh-KOVE אֶת et רָחֵ֑ל Rachel; ra-HALE וַיֹּ֗אמֶר and va-YOH-mer אֶֽעֱבָדְךָ֙ said, eh-ay-vode-HA שֶׁ֣בַע I SHEH-va שָׁנִ֔ים will sha-NEEM בְּרָחֵ֥ל serve beh-ra-HALE בִּתְּךָ֖ thee bee-teh-HA הַקְּטַנָּֽה׃ seven ha-keh-ta-NA -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Laban va-YOH-mer לָבָ֗ן said, la-VAHN ט֚וֹב It tove תִּתִּ֣י is tee-TEE אֹתָ֣הּ better oh-TA לָ֔ךְ that lahk מִתִּתִּ֥י I mee-tee-TEE אֹתָ֖הּ give oh-TA לְאִ֣ישׁ her leh-EESH אַחֵ֑ר to ah-HARE שְׁבָ֖ה thee, sheh-VA עִמָּדִֽי׃ than ee-ma-DEE -
וַיַּֽעֲבֹ֧ד Jacob va-ya-uh-VODE יַֽעֲקֹ֛ב served ya-uh-KOVE בְּרָחֵ֖ל seven beh-ra-HALE שֶׁ֣בַע years SHEH-va שָׁנִ֑ים for sha-NEEM וַיִּֽהְי֤וּ Rachel; va-yee-heh-YOO בְעֵינָיו֙ and veh-ay-nav כְּיָמִ֣ים they keh-ya-MEEM אֲחָדִ֔ים seemed uh-ha-DEEM בְּאַֽהֲבָת֖וֹ beh-ah-huh-va-TOH אֹתָֽהּ׃ unto oh-TA -
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר Jacob va-YOH-mer יַֽעֲקֹ֤ב said ya-uh-KOVE אֶל unto el לָבָן֙ Laban, la-VAHN הָבָ֣ה Give ha-VA אֶת me et אִשְׁתִּ֔י eesh-TEE כִּ֥י my kee מָֽלְא֖וּ wife, ma-leh-OO יָמָ֑י for ya-MAI וְאָב֖וֹאָה my veh-ah-VOH-ah אֵלֶֽיהָ׃ days ay-LAY-ha -
וַיֶּֽאֱסֹ֥ף Laban va-yeh-ay-SOFE לָבָ֛ן gathered la-VAHN אֶת together et כָּל kahl אַנְשֵׁ֥י all an-SHAY הַמָּק֖וֹם the ha-ma-KOME וַיַּ֥עַשׂ men va-YA-as מִשְׁתֶּֽה׃ of meesh-TEH -
וַיְהִ֣י it vai-HEE בָעֶ֔רֶב came va-EH-rev וַיִּקַּח֙ to va-yee-KAHK אֶת pass et לֵאָ֣ה in lay-AH בִתּ֔וֹ the VEE-toh וַיָּבֵ֥א evening, va-ya-VAY אֹתָ֖הּ that oh-TA אֵלָ֑יו he ay-LAV וַיָּבֹ֖א took va-ya-VOH אֵלֶֽיהָ׃ ay-LAY-ha -
וַיִּתֵּ֤ן Laban va-yee-TANE לָבָן֙ gave la-VAHN לָ֔הּ unto la אֶת his et זִלְפָּ֖ה daughter zeel-PA שִׁפְחָת֑וֹ Leah sheef-ha-TOH לְלֵאָ֥ה leh-lay-AH בִתּ֖וֹ Zilpah VEE-toh שִׁפְחָֽה׃ his sheef-HA -

וַיַּ֤רְא when va-YAHR יְהוָה֙ the yeh-VA כִּֽי Lord kee שְׂנוּאָ֣ה saw seh-noo-AH לֵאָ֔ה that lay-AH וַיִּפְתַּ֖ח Leah va-yeef-TAHK אֶת was et רַחְמָ֑הּ hated, rahk-MA וְרָחֵ֖ל he veh-ra-HALE עֲקָרָֽה׃ opened uh-ka-RA -
וַתַּ֤הַר Leah va-TA-hahr לֵאָה֙ conceived, lay-AH וַתֵּ֣לֶד and va-TAY-led בֵּ֔ן bare bane וַתִּקְרָ֥א a va-teek-RA שְׁמ֖וֹ son, sheh-MOH רְאוּבֵ֑ן and reh-oo-VANE כִּ֣י she kee אָֽמְרָ֗ה called ah-meh-RA כִּֽי his kee רָאָ֤ה name ra-AH יְהוָה֙ Reuben: yeh-VA בְּעָנְיִ֔י for beh-one-YEE כִּ֥י she kee עַתָּ֖ה said, ah-TA יֶֽאֱהָבַ֥נִי Surely yeh-ay-ha-VA-nee אִישִֽׁי׃ the ee-SHEE -
וַתַּ֣הַר she va-TA-hahr עוֹד֮ conceived ode וַתֵּ֣לֶד again, va-TAY-led בֵּן֒ and bane וַתֹּ֗אמֶר bare va-TOH-mer כִּֽי a kee שָׁמַ֤ע son; sha-MA יְהוָה֙ and yeh-VA כִּֽי said, kee שְׂנוּאָ֣ה Because seh-noo-AH אָנֹ֔כִי the ah-NOH-hee וַיִּתֶּן Lord va-yee-TEN לִ֖י hath lee גַּם heard ɡahm אֶת that et זֶ֑ה I zeh וַתִּקְרָ֥א was va-teek-RA שְׁמ֖וֹ hated, sheh-MOH שִׁמְעֽוֹן׃ he sheem-ONE -
וַתַּ֣הַר she va-TA-hahr עוֹד֮ conceived ode וַתֵּ֣לֶד again, va-TAY-led בֵּן֒ and bane וַתֹּ֗אמֶר bare va-TOH-mer עַתָּ֤ה a ah-TA הַפַּ֙עַם֙ son; ha-PA-AM יִלָּוֶ֤ה and yee-la-VEH אִישִׁי֙ said, ee-SHEE אֵלַ֔י Now ay-LAI כִּֽי this kee יָלַ֥דְתִּי time ya-LAHD-tee ל֖וֹ will loh שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה my sheh-loh-SHA בָנִ֑ים husband va-NEEM עַל be al כֵּ֥ן joined kane קָרָֽא unto ka-RA שְׁמ֖וֹ me, sheh-MOH לֵוִֽי׃ because lay-VEE -
