मिद्यानका मानिसहरू अत्यन्त शक्तिशाली अनि इस्राएलका मानिसहरू प्रति निष्ठूर थिए। यसर्थ इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले पर्वतहरूमा अनेक लुक्ने ठाउँहरू निर्माण गरेका थिए। तिनीहरूले आफ्ना भोजनहरू गुफाहरू अनि भेटून गाह्रो पर्ने स्थानहरूमा लुकाए।
