तर इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले परमेश्वरको आज्ञा पालन गरेनन्। यहूदाका कुलको जेरहको छोरो जब्दी, त्यसको छोरो कर्मी, कर्मीको छोरो आकान थिए। आकानले ती केही वस्तुहरू राखे जसलाई नष्ट गरिनु पर्ने थियो। यसर्थ परमप्रभु इस्राएलका मानिसहरू प्रति अत्यन्त क्रोधित हुनुभयो।
