Genesis 24:16
तिनी अत्यन्तै सुन्दरी तरूणी थिइन जो सँग कुनै मानिस सुतेका थिएनन्। तिनी आफ्नो गाग्रीमा पानी भर्न कूवाको नजिक आइन्।

| a virgin, | בְּתוּלָ֕ה | bĕtûlâ | beh-too-LA |
| neither | וְאִ֖ישׁ | wĕʾîš | veh-EESH |
| had any man | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| known | יְדָעָ֑הּ | yĕdāʿāh | yeh-da-AH |
| her: and she went down | וַתֵּ֣רֶד | wattēred | va-TAY-red |
| well, the to | הָעַ֔יְנָה | hāʿaynâ | ha-AH-na |
| and filled | וַתְּמַלֵּ֥א | wattĕmallēʾ | va-teh-ma-LAY |
| her pitcher, | כַדָּ֖הּ | kaddāh | ha-DA |
| and came up. | וַתָּֽעַל׃ | wattāʿal | va-TA-al |
