2 Samuel 2:23
तर असाहेलले उसलाई पिछा नगर्न इन्कार गरे। यसकारण अबनेरले आफ्ना भालाको टुप्पोले असाहेलको भुँडीमा उनिदियो। भाला असाहेलको पछाडिपट्टि निस्कियो। अनि असाहेल त्यँही मर्यो।असाहेलको लास भुइँमा लड्यो। मानिसहरूले हतार-हतार गएर हेरे।

| spear the that rib, | הַחֹ֗מֶשׁ | haḥōmeš | ha-HOH-mesh |
| came out | וַתֵּצֵ֤א | wattēṣēʾ | va-tay-TSAY |
| behind | הַֽחֲנִית֙ | haḥănît | ha-huh-NEET |
| מֵאַֽחֲרָ֔יו | mēʾaḥărāyw | may-ah-huh-RAV | |
| down fell he and him; | וַיִּפָּל | wayyippāl | va-yee-PAHL |
| there, | שָׁ֖ם | šām | shahm |
| and died | וַיָּ֣מָת | wayyāmot | va-YA-mote |

| fell down | שָׁ֧ם | šām | shahm |
| and died | עֲשָׂהאֵ֛ל | ʿăśohʾēl | uh-soh-ALE |
| stood still. | וַיָּמֹ֖ת | wayyāmōt | va-ya-MOTE |
| וַֽיַּעֲמֹֽדוּ׃ | wayyaʿămōdû | VA-ya-uh-MOH-doo |
