मोआबीली मानिसहरू इस्राएलीहरूको शिबिरमा आए। तर इस्राएलीहरू बाहिर निस्किए अनि मोआबी सेनामाथि आक्रमण गरे। इस्राएलीहरूले मोआबीहरूलाई लखेटे। इस्राएलीहरूले मोआबीसँग लडाइँ गर्न तिनीहरूलाई मोआबसम्म पछ्याए।

मानिसहरू भन्नेछन्, “हामीलाई शान्ति छ, हामी सुरक्षित छौं। तर तिनीहरूमाथि एक्कासि विनाश आइलाग्छ जसरी गर्भवती स्त्रीलाई एक्कासि प्रसव वेदनाले चाप्दछ। अनि त तिनीहरूले भाग्ने मौका समेत पाउने छैनन्।
