योशियाहले धामी झाँक्रि, जादुगर, गृह देवता, देवमूर्तिहरू अनि यहूदा तथा यरूशलेममा मानिसहरूले पूजा गर्ने सबै डरलाग्दा चीजहरू नाश पारे। योशियाहले यस्तो काम हिल्कियाह पूजाहारीले परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा पाइऐको पुस्तकमा लेखिएको विधि पालन गर्नका लागि गरे।
