וַיִּקְרָ֥א Isaac va-yeek-RA יִצְחָ֛ק called yeets-HAHK אֶֽל el יַעֲקֹ֖ב Jacob, ya-uh-KOVE וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ and vai-VA-rek אֹת֑וֹ blessed oh-TOH וַיְצַוֵּ֙הוּ֙ him, vai-tsa-WAY-HOO וַיֹּ֣אמֶר and va-YOH-mer ל֔וֹ charged loh לֹֽא him, loh תִקַּ֥ח and tee-KAHK אִשָּׁ֖ה said ee-SHA מִבְּנ֥וֹת unto mee-beh-NOTE כְּנָֽעַן׃ him, keh-NA-an -
ק֥וּם go koom לֵךְ֙ to lake פַּדֶּ֣נָֽה Padan-aram, pa-DEH-na אֲרָ֔ם to uh-RAHM בֵּ֥יתָה the BAY-ta בְתוּאֵ֖ל house veh-too-ALE אֲבִ֣י of uh-VEE אִמֶּ֑ךָ Bethuel ee-MEH-ha וְקַח thy veh-KAHK לְךָ֤ mother's leh-HA מִשָּׁם֙ father; mee-SHAHM אִשָּׁ֔ה and ee-SHA מִבְּנ֥וֹת take mee-beh-NOTE לָבָ֖ן thee la-VAHN אֲחִ֥י a uh-HEE אִמֶּֽךָ׃ wife ee-MEH-ha -
וְאֵ֤ל God veh-ALE שַׁדַּי֙ Almighty sha-DA יְבָרֵ֣ךְ bless yeh-va-RAKE אֹֽתְךָ֔ thee, oh-teh-HA וְיַפְרְךָ֖ and veh-yahf-reh-HA וְיַרְבֶּ֑ךָ make veh-yahr-BEH-ha וְהָיִ֖יתָ thee veh-ha-YEE-ta לִקְהַ֥ל fruitful, leek-HAHL עַמִּֽים׃ and ah-MEEM -
וְיִֽתֶּן give veh-YEE-ten לְךָ֙ thee leh-HA אֶת et בִּרְכַּ֣ת the beer-KAHT אַבְרָהָ֔ם blessing av-ra-HAHM לְךָ֖ of leh-HA וּלְזַרְעֲךָ֣ Abraham, oo-leh-zahr-uh-HA אִתָּ֑ךְ to ee-TAHK לְרִשְׁתְּךָ֙ thee, leh-reesh-teh-HA אֶת and et אֶ֣רֶץ to EH-rets מְגֻרֶ֔יךָ thy meh-ɡoo-RAY-ha אֲשֶׁר seed uh-SHER נָתַ֥ן with na-TAHN אֱלֹהִ֖ים thee; ay-loh-HEEM לְאַבְרָהָֽם׃ that leh-av-ra-HAHM -
וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח Isaac va-yeesh-LAHK יִצְחָק֙ sent yeets-HAHK אֶֽת away et יַעֲקֹ֔ב ya-uh-KOVE וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ Jacob: va-YAY-lek פַּדֶּ֣נָֽה and pa-DEH-na אֲרָ֑ם he uh-RAHM אֶל went el לָבָ֤ן to la-VAHN בֶּן Padan-aram ben בְּתוּאֵל֙ unto beh-too-ALE הָֽאֲרַמִּ֔י Laban, ha-uh-ra-MEE אֲחִ֣י son uh-HEE רִבְקָ֔ה of reev-KA אֵ֥ם Bethuel ame יַֽעֲקֹ֖ב the ya-uh-KOVE וְעֵשָֽׂו׃ Syrian, veh-ay-SAHV -
וַיַּ֣רְא Esau va-YAHR עֵשָׂ֗ו saw ay-SAHV כִּֽי that kee בֵרַ֣ךְ Isaac vay-RAHK יִצְחָק֮ had yeets-HAHK אֶֽת blessed et יַעֲקֹב֒ ya-uh-KOVE וְשִׁלַּ֤ח Jacob, veh-shee-LAHK אֹתוֹ֙ and oh-TOH פַּדֶּ֣נָֽה sent pa-DEH-na אֲרָ֔ם him uh-RAHM לָקַֽחַת away la-KA-haht ל֥וֹ to loh מִשָּׁ֖ם Padan-aram, mee-SHAHM אִשָּׁ֑ה to ee-SHA בְּבָרֲכ֣וֹ take beh-va-ruh-HOH אֹת֔וֹ him oh-TOH וַיְצַ֤ו a vai-TSAHV עָלָיו֙ wife ah-lav לֵאמֹ֔ר from lay-MORE לֹֽא thence; loh תִקַּ֥ח and tee-KAHK אִשָּׁ֖ה that ee-SHA מִבְּנ֥וֹת as mee-beh-NOTE כְּנָֽעַן׃ he keh-NA-an -
וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע that va-yeesh-MA יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב Jacob ya-uh-KOVE אֶל obeyed el אָבִ֖יו ah-VEEOO וְאֶל his veh-EL אִמּ֑וֹ father EE-moh וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ and va-YAY-lek פַּדֶּ֥נָֽה his pa-DEH-na אֲרָֽם׃ mother, uh-RAHM -
וַיַּ֣רְא Esau va-YAHR עֵשָׂ֔ו seeing ay-SAHV כִּ֥י that kee רָע֖וֹת the ra-OTE בְּנ֣וֹת daughters beh-NOTE כְּנָ֑עַן of keh-NA-an בְּעֵינֵ֖י Canaan beh-ay-NAY יִצְחָ֥ק pleased yeets-HAHK אָבִֽיו׃ not ah-VEEV -
וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ went va-YAY-lek עֵשָׂ֖ו Esau ay-SAHV אֶל unto el יִשְׁמָעֵ֑אל Ishmael, yeesh-ma-ALE וַיִּקַּ֡ח and va-yee-KAHK אֶֽת took et מָחֲלַ֣ת׀ unto ma-huh-LAHT בַּת the baht יִשְׁמָעֵ֨אל wives yeesh-ma-ALE בֶּן which ben אַבְרָהָ֜ם he av-ra-HAHM אֲח֧וֹת had uh-HOTE נְבָי֛וֹת neh-va-YOTE עַל Mahalath al נָשָׁ֖יו the na-SHAV ל֥וֹ daughter loh לְאִשָּֽׁה׃ of leh-ee-SHA -
וַיֵּצֵ֥א Jacob va-yay-TSAY יַֽעֲקֹ֖ב went ya-uh-KOVE מִבְּאֵ֣ר out mee-beh-ARE שָׁ֑בַע from SHA-va וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ Beer-sheba, va-YAY-lek חָרָֽנָה׃ and ha-RA-na -
וַיִּפְגַּ֨ע he va-yeef-ɡA בַּמָּק֜וֹם lighted ba-ma-KOME וַיָּ֤לֶן upon va-YA-len שָׁם֙ a shahm כִּי certain kee בָ֣א place, va הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ and ha-SHEH-mesh וַיִּקַּח֙ tarried va-yee-KAHK מֵֽאַבְנֵ֣י there may-av-NAY הַמָּק֔וֹם all ha-ma-KOME וַיָּ֖שֶׂם night, va-YA-sem מְרַֽאֲשֹׁתָ֑יו meh-ra-uh-shoh-TAV וַיִּשְׁכַּ֖ב because va-yeesh-KAHV בַּמָּק֥וֹם the ba-ma-KOME הַהֽוּא׃ sun ha-HOO -
וַֽיַּחֲלֹ֗ם he va-ya-huh-LOME וְהִנֵּ֤ה dreamed, veh-hee-NAY סֻלָּם֙ and soo-LAHM מֻצָּ֣ב behold moo-TSAHV אַ֔רְצָה a AR-tsa וְרֹאשׁ֖וֹ ladder veh-roh-SHOH מַגִּ֣יעַ set ma-ɡEE-ah הַשָּׁמָ֑יְמָה up ha-sha-MA-yeh-ma וְהִנֵּה֙ on veh-hee-NAY מַלְאֲכֵ֣י the mahl-uh-HAY אֱלֹהִ֔ים earth, ay-loh-HEEM עֹלִ֥ים and oh-LEEM וְיֹֽרְדִ֖ים the veh-yoh-reh-DEEM בּֽוֹ׃ top boh -
וְהִנֵּ֨ה behold, veh-hee-NAY יְהוָ֜ה the yeh-VA נִצָּ֣ב Lord nee-TSAHV עָלָיו֮ stood ah-lav וַיֹּאמַר֒ above va-yoh-MAHR אֲנִ֣י it, uh-NEE יְהוָ֗ה and yeh-VA אֱלֹהֵי֙ said, ay-loh-HAY אַבְרָהָ֣ם I av-ra-HAHM אָבִ֔יךָ am ah-VEE-ha וֵֽאלֹהֵ֖י the vay-loh-HAY יִצְחָ֑ק Lord yeets-HAHK הָאָ֗רֶץ God ha-AH-rets אֲשֶׁ֤ר of uh-SHER אַתָּה֙ Abraham ah-TA שֹׁכֵ֣ב thy shoh-HAVE עָלֶ֔יהָ father, ah-LAY-ha לְךָ֥ and leh-HA אֶתְּנֶ֖נָּה the eh-teh-NEH-na וּלְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃ God oo-leh-zahr-EH-ha -
וְהָיָ֤ה thy veh-ha-YA זַרְעֲךָ֙ seed zahr-uh-HA כַּֽעֲפַ֣ר shall ka-uh-FAHR הָאָ֔רֶץ be ha-AH-rets וּפָֽרַצְתָּ֛ as oo-fa-rahts-TA יָ֥מָּה the YA-ma וָקֵ֖דְמָה dust va-KAY-deh-ma וְצָפֹ֣נָה of veh-tsa-FOH-na וָנֶ֑גְבָּה the va-NEɡ-ba וְנִבְרֲכ֥וּ earth, veh-neev-ruh-HOO בְךָ֛ and veh-HA כָּל thou kahl מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת shalt meesh-peh-HOTE הָֽאֲדָמָ֖ה spread ha-uh-da-MA וּבְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃ abroad oo-veh-zahr-EH-ha -
וְהִנֵּ֨ה behold, veh-hee-NAY אָֽנֹכִ֜י I ah-noh-HEE עִמָּ֗ךְ am ee-MAHK וּשְׁמַרְתִּ֙יךָ֙ with oo-sheh-mahr-TEE-HA בְּכֹ֣ל thee, beh-HOLE אֲשֶׁר and uh-SHER תֵּלֵ֔ךְ will tay-LAKE וַהֲשִׁ֣בֹתִ֔יךָ keep va-huh-SHEE-voh-TEE-ha אֶל thee el הָֽאֲדָמָ֖ה in ha-uh-da-MA הַזֹּ֑את all ha-ZOTE כִּ֚י places kee לֹ֣א whither loh אֶֽעֱזָבְךָ֔ thou eh-ay-zove-HA עַ֚ד goest, ad אֲשֶׁ֣ר and uh-SHER אִם will eem עָשִׂ֔יתִי bring ah-SEE-tee אֵ֥ת thee ate אֲשֶׁר again uh-SHER דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי into dee-BAHR-tee לָֽךְ׃ this lahk -
וַיִּיקַ֣ץ Jacob va-yee-KAHTS יַֽעֲקֹב֮ awaked ya-uh-KOVE מִשְּׁנָתוֹ֒ out mee-sheh-na-TOH וַיֹּ֕אמֶר of va-YOH-mer אָכֵן֙ his ah-HANE יֵ֣שׁ sleep, yaysh יְהוָ֔ה and yeh-VA בַּמָּק֖וֹם he ba-ma-KOME הַזֶּ֑ה said, ha-ZEH וְאָֽנֹכִ֖י Surely veh-ah-noh-HEE לֹ֥א the loh יָדָֽעְתִּי׃ Lord ya-DA-eh-tee -
וַיִּירָא֙ he va-yee-RA וַיֹּאמַ֔ר was va-yoh-MAHR מַה afraid, ma נּוֹרָ֖א and noh-RA הַמָּק֣וֹם said, ha-ma-KOME הַזֶּ֑ה How ha-ZEH אֵ֣ין dreadful ane זֶ֗ה is zeh כִּ֚י this kee אִם place! eem בֵּ֣ית this bate אֱלֹהִ֔ים is ay-loh-HEEM וְזֶ֖ה none veh-ZEH שַׁ֥עַר other SHA-ar הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ but ha-sha-MA-yeem -
וַיַּשְׁכֵּ֨ם Jacob va-yahsh-KAME יַֽעֲקֹ֜ב rose ya-uh-KOVE בַּבֹּ֗קֶר up ba-BOH-ker וַיִּקַּ֤ח early va-yee-KAHK אֶת in et הָאֶ֙בֶן֙ the ha-EH-VEN אֲשֶׁר morning, uh-SHER שָׂ֣ם and sahm מְרַֽאֲשֹׁתָ֔יו took meh-ra-uh-shoh-TAV וַיָּ֥שֶׂם va-YA-sem אֹתָ֖הּ the oh-TA מַצֵּבָ֑ה stone ma-tsay-VA וַיִּצֹ֥ק that va-yee-TSOKE שֶׁ֖מֶן he SHEH-men עַל had al רֹאשָֽׁהּ׃ put roh-SHA -
וַיִּקְרָ֛א he va-yeek-RA אֶת called et שֵֽׁם shame הַמָּק֥וֹם the ha-ma-KOME הַה֖וּא name ha-HOO בֵּֽית of bate אֵ֑ל that ale וְאוּלָ֛ם place veh-oo-LAHM ל֥וּז Beth-el: looz שֵׁם but shame הָעִ֖יר the ha-EER לָרִֽאשֹׁנָֽה׃ name la-REE-shoh-NA -
וַיִּדַּ֥ר Jacob va-yee-DAHR יַֽעֲקֹ֖ב vowed ya-uh-KOVE נֶ֣דֶר a NEH-der לֵאמֹ֑ר vow, lay-MORE אִם saying, eem יִֽהְיֶ֨ה If yee-heh-YEH אֱלֹהִ֜ים God ay-loh-HEEM עִמָּדִ֗י will ee-ma-DEE וּשְׁמָרַ֙נִי֙ be oo-sheh-ma-RA-NEE בַּדֶּ֤רֶךְ with ba-DEH-rek הַזֶּה֙ me, ha-ZEH אֲשֶׁ֣ר and uh-SHER אָֽנֹכִ֣י will ah-noh-HEE הוֹלֵ֔ךְ keep hoh-LAKE וְנָֽתַן me veh-NA-tahn לִ֥י in lee לֶ֛חֶם this LEH-hem לֶֽאֱכֹ֖ל way leh-ay-HOLE וּבֶ֥גֶד that oo-VEH-ɡed לִלְבֹּֽשׁ׃ I leel-BOHSH -
וְשַׁבְתִּ֥י that veh-shahv-TEE בְשָׁל֖וֹם I veh-sha-LOME אֶל come el בֵּ֣ית again bate אָבִ֑י to ah-VEE וְהָיָ֧ה my veh-ha-YA יְהוָ֛ה father's yeh-VA לִ֖י house lee לֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃ in LAY-loh-HEEM -
וְהָאֶ֣בֶן this veh-ha-EH-ven הַזֹּ֗את stone, ha-ZOTE אֲשֶׁר which uh-SHER שַׂ֙מְתִּי֙ I SAHM-TEE מַצֵּבָ֔ה have ma-tsay-VA יִֽהְיֶ֖ה set yee-heh-YEH בֵּ֣ית for bate אֱלֹהִ֑ים a ay-loh-HEEM וְכֹל֙ pillar, veh-HOLE אֲשֶׁ֣ר shall uh-SHER תִּתֶּן be tee-TEN לִ֔י God's lee עַשֵּׂ֖ר house: ah-SARE אֲעַשְּׂרֶ֥נּוּ and uh-ah-seh-REH-noo לָֽךְ׃ of lahk
