दाऊद मरूभूमिको किल्लामा बस्न पुगे। दाऊद जीपको मरूभूमिको पहाडी क्षेत्रमा गए। शाऊलले सधै नै दाऊदको खोजी गर्थे, तर परमप्रभुले शाऊलको हातबाट दाऊदलाई जोगाउनु हुन्थ्यो।
