अनि राजाले आफ्ना छेऊमा उभिएको रक्षकलाई आदेश दिए, “जाऊ, परमप्रभुका ती पूजाहारीहरूलाई मार। यसो गर्नै पर्छ कारण तिनीहरू दाऊदका मानिसहरू हुन्। दाऊद भाग्दै थियो भन्ने जान्दा जान्दै पनि तिनीहरूले मलाई बताएनन्।” तर राजाका अधिकारीहरूले परमप्रभुका ती पूजाहारीहरूलाई मार्न अस्वीकार गरे।
