1 Kings 8:47
त्यस टाढाको ठाऊँमा तपाईंका मानिसहरूले के भयो भनी सोच्ने छन्। आफ्नो पाप कार्यका लागि तिनीहरू क्षमा-याचना गर्नेछन् अनि तपाईंमा प्रार्थना गर्नेछन्। तिनीहरू भन्ने छन्, ‘हामीले पाप गरेका छौं अनि भूल गरेका छौं।’

| אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER | |
| they were carried captives, | נִשְׁבּוּ | nišbû | neesh-BOO |
| repent, and | שָׁ֑ם | šām | shahm |
| וְשָׁ֣בוּ׀ | wĕšābû | veh-SHA-voo | |
| and make supplication | וְהִֽתְחַנְּנ֣וּ | wĕhitĕḥannĕnû | veh-hee-teh-ha-neh-NOO |
| unto | אֵלֶ֗יךָ | ʾēlêkā | ay-LAY-ha |
| thee in the land | בְּאֶ֤רֶץ | bĕʾereṣ | beh-EH-rets |
| captives, them carried that them of | שֹֽׁבֵיהֶם֙ | šōbêhem | shoh-vay-HEM |
| saying, | לֵאמֹ֔ר | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
| sinned, have We | חָטָ֥אנוּ | ḥāṭāʾnû | ha-TA-noo |
| and have done perversely, | וְהֶֽעֱוִ֖ינוּ | wĕheʿĕwînû | veh-heh-ay-VEE-noo |
| we have committed wickedness; | רָשָֽׁעְנוּ׃ | rāšāʿĕnû | ra-SHA-eh-noo |
