राजा दाऊद समक्ष जानुहोस्, अनि उनीसँग भन्नुहोस्, ‘महाराज, मेरा स्वामी, तपाईंले मलाई वचन दिनु भएको थियो। तपाईं पछि मेरो छोरो सुलेमान राजा हुनेछ भनी वचन दिनु भएको थियो। तब किन अदोनियाह नयाँ राजा हुँदैछ?’
