צַו֮ tsahv אֶת the et בְּנֵ֣י children beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ of yees-ra-ALE וְנָֽתְנ֣וּ Israel, veh-na-teh-NOO לַלְוִיִּ֗ם that lahl-vee-YEEM מִֽנַּחֲלַ֛ת they mee-na-huh-LAHT אֲחֻזָּתָ֖ם give uh-hoo-za-TAHM עָרִ֣ים unto ah-REEM לָשָׁ֑בֶת the la-SHA-vet וּמִגְרָ֗שׁ Levites oo-meeɡ-RAHSH לֶֽעָרִים֙ of leh-ah-REEM סְבִיבֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם the seh-vee-VOH-tay-HEM תִּתְּנ֖וּ inheritance tee-teh-NOO לַלְוִיִּֽם׃ of lahl-vee-YEEM -
וְהָי֧וּ the veh-ha-YOO הֶֽעָרִ֛ים cities heh-ah-REEM לָהֶ֖ם shall la-HEM לָשָׁ֑בֶת they la-SHA-vet וּמִגְרְשֵׁיהֶ֗ם have oo-meeɡ-reh-shay-HEM יִֽהְי֤וּ to yee-heh-YOO לִבְהֶמְתָּם֙ dwell leev-hem-TAHM וְלִרְכֻשָׁ֔ם in; veh-leer-hoo-SHAHM וּלְכֹ֖ל and oo-leh-HOLE חַיָּתָֽם׃ the ha-ya-TAHM -
וּמִגְרְשֵׁי֙ the oo-meeɡ-reh-SHAY הֶֽעָרִ֔ים suburbs heh-ah-REEM אֲשֶׁ֥ר of uh-SHER תִּתְּנ֖וּ the tee-teh-NOO לַלְוִיִּ֑ם cities, lahl-vee-YEEM מִקִּ֤יר which mee-KEER הָעִיר֙ ye ha-EER וָח֔וּצָה shall va-HOO-tsa אֶ֥לֶף give EH-lef אַמָּ֖ה unto ah-MA סָבִֽיב׃ the sa-VEEV -
וּמַדֹּתֶ֞ם ye oo-ma-doh-TEM מִח֣וּץ shall mee-HOOTS לָעִ֗יר measure la-EER אֶת from et פְּאַת without peh-AT קֵ֣דְמָה the KAY-deh-ma אַלְפַּ֪יִם city al-PA-yeem בָּֽאַמָּ֟ה on ba-ah-MA וְאֶת veh-ET פְּאַת the peh-AT נֶגֶב֩ east neh-ɡEV אַלְפַּ֨יִם side al-PA-yeem בָּֽאַמָּ֜ה two ba-ah-MA וְאֶת thousand veh-ET פְּאַת cubits, peh-AT יָ֣ם׀ and yahm אַלְפַּ֣יִם on al-PA-yeem בָּֽאַמָּ֗ה the ba-ah-MA וְאֵ֨ת south veh-ATE פְּאַ֥ת side peh-AT צָפ֛וֹן two tsa-FONE אַלְפַּ֥יִם thousand al-PA-yeem בָּֽאַמָּ֖ה cubits, ba-ah-MA וְהָעִ֣יר and veh-ha-EER בַּתָּ֑וֶךְ on ba-TA-vek זֶ֚ה the zeh יִֽהְיֶ֣ה west yee-heh-YEH לָהֶ֔ם side la-HEM מִגְרְשֵׁ֖י two meeɡ-reh-SHAY הֶֽעָרִֽים׃ thousand HEH-ah-REEM -
וְאֵ֣ת among veh-ATE הֶֽעָרִ֗ים the heh-ah-REEM אֲשֶׁ֤ר cities uh-SHER תִּתְּנוּ֙ which tee-teh-NOO לַלְוִיִּ֔ם ye lahl-vee-YEEM אֵ֚ת shall ate שֵׁשׁ give shaysh עָרֵ֣י unto ah-RAY הַמִּקְלָ֔ט the ha-meek-LAHT אֲשֶׁ֣ר Levites uh-SHER תִּתְּנ֔וּ there tee-teh-NOO לָנֻ֥ס shall la-NOOS שָׁ֖מָּה be SHA-ma הָֽרֹצֵ֑חַ ha-roh-TSAY-ak וַֽעֲלֵיהֶ֣ם six va-uh-lay-HEM תִּתְּנ֔וּ cities tee-teh-NOO אַרְבָּעִ֥ים for ar-ba-EEM וּשְׁתַּ֖יִם refuge, oo-sheh-TA-yeem עִֽיר׃ which eer -
כָּל all kahl הֶֽעָרִ֗ים the heh-ah-REEM אֲשֶׁ֤ר cities uh-SHER תִּתְּנוּ֙ which tee-teh-NOO לַלְוִיִּ֔ם ye lahl-vee-YEEM אַרְבָּעִ֥ים shall ar-ba-EEM וּשְׁמֹנֶ֖ה give oo-sheh-moh-NEH עִ֑יר to eer אֶתְהֶ֖ן the et-HEN וְאֶת Levites veh-ET מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶֽן׃ shall meeɡ-reh-shay-HEN -
וְהֶֽעָרִ֗ים the veh-heh-ah-REEM אֲשֶׁ֤ר cities uh-SHER תִּתְּנוּ֙ which tee-teh-NOO מֵֽאֲחֻזַּ֣ת ye may-uh-hoo-ZAHT בְּנֵֽי shall beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל give yees-ra-ALE מֵאֵ֤ת shall may-ATE הָרַב֙ be ha-RAHV תַּרְבּ֔וּ of tahr-BOO וּמֵאֵ֥ת the oo-may-ATE הַמְעַ֖ט possession hahm-AT תַּמְעִ֑יטוּ of tahm-EE-too אִ֗ישׁ the eesh כְּפִ֤י children keh-FEE נַֽחֲלָתוֹ֙ of na-huh-la-TOH אֲשֶׁ֣ר Israel: uh-SHER יִנְחָ֔לוּ from yeen-HA-loo יִתֵּ֥ן them yee-TANE מֵֽעָרָ֖יו that may-ah-RAV לַלְוִיִּֽם׃ have lahl-vee-YEEM -

דַּבֵּר֙ unto da-BARE אֶל the el בְּנֵ֣י children beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of yees-ra-ALE וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֖ Israel, veh-ah-mahr-TA אֲלֵהֶ֑ם and uh-lay-HEM כִּ֥י say kee אַתֶּ֛ם unto ah-TEM עֹֽבְרִ֥ים them, oh-veh-REEM אֶת When et הַיַּרְדֵּ֖ן ye ha-yahr-DANE אַ֥רְצָה be AR-tsa כְּנָֽעַן׃ come keh-NA-an -

וְהָי֨וּ they veh-ha-YOO לָכֶ֧ם shall la-HEM הֶֽעָרִ֛ים be heh-ah-REEM לְמִקְלָ֖ט unto leh-meek-LAHT מִגֹּאֵ֑ל you mee-ɡoh-ALE וְלֹ֤א cities veh-LOH יָמוּת֙ for ya-MOOT הָֽרֹצֵ֔חַ refuge ha-roh-TSAY-ak עַד from ad עָמְד֛וֹ the ome-DOH לִפְנֵ֥י avenger; leef-NAY הָֽעֵדָ֖ה that ha-ay-DA לַמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃ the la-meesh-PAHT -
וְהֶֽעָרִ֖ים of veh-heh-ah-REEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר these uh-SHER תִּתֵּ֑נוּ cities tee-TAY-noo שֵׁשׁ which shaysh עָרֵ֥י ye ah-RAY מִקְלָ֖ט shall meek-LAHT תִּֽהְיֶ֥ינָה give tee-heh-YAY-na לָכֶֽם׃ six la-HEM -
אֵ֣ת׀ shall ate שְׁלֹ֣שׁ give sheh-LOHSH הֶֽעָרִ֗ים heh-ah-REEM תִּתְּנוּ֙ three tee-teh-NOO מֵעֵ֣בֶר cities may-A-ver לַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן on la-yahr-DANE וְאֵת֙ this veh-ATE שְׁלֹ֣שׁ side sheh-LOHSH הֶֽעָרִ֔ים Jordan, heh-ah-REEM תִּתְּנ֖וּ and tee-teh-NOO בְּאֶ֣רֶץ three beh-EH-rets כְּנָ֑עַן cities keh-NA-an עָרֵ֥י shall ah-RAY מִקְלָ֖ט ye meek-LAHT תִּֽהְיֶֽינָה׃ give TEE-heh-YAY-na -
לִבְנֵ֣י six leev-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל cities yees-ra-ALE וְלַגֵּ֤ר shall veh-la-ɡARE וְלַתּוֹשָׁב֙ be veh-la-toh-SHAHV בְּתוֹכָ֔ם a beh-toh-HAHM תִּֽהְיֶ֛ינָה refuge, tee-heh-YAY-na שֵׁשׁ both shaysh הֶֽעָרִ֥ים for heh-ah-REEM הָאֵ֖לֶּה the ha-A-leh לְמִקְלָ֑ט children leh-meek-LAHT לָנ֣וּס of la-NOOS שָׁ֔מָּה Israel, SHA-ma כָּל and kahl מַכֵּה for ma-KAY נֶ֖פֶשׁ the NEH-fesh בִּשְׁגָגָֽה׃ stranger, beesh-ɡa-ɡA -
וְאִם if veh-EEM בִּכְלִ֨י he beek-LEE בַרְזֶ֧ל׀ smite vahr-ZEL הִכָּ֛הוּ him hee-KA-hoo וַיָּמֹ֖ת with va-ya-MOTE רֹצֵ֣חַֽ an roh-TSAY-ha ה֑וּא instrument hoo מ֥וֹת of mote יוּמַ֖ת iron, yoo-MAHT הָֽרֹצֵֽחַ׃ so HA-roh-TSAY-ak -
וְאִ֡ם if veh-EEM בְּאֶ֣בֶן he beh-EH-ven יָד֩ smite yahd אֲשֶׁר him uh-SHER יָמ֨וּת with ya-MOOT בָּ֥הּ throwing ba הִכָּ֛הוּ a hee-KA-hoo וַיָּמֹ֖ת stone, va-ya-MOTE רֹצֵ֣חַֽ wherewith roh-TSAY-ha ה֑וּא he hoo מ֥וֹת may mote יוּמַ֖ת die, yoo-MAHT הָֽרֹצֵֽחַ׃ and HA-roh-TSAY-ak -
א֡וֹ if oh בִּכְלִ֣י he beek-LEE עֵֽץ smite ayts יָד֩ him yahd אֲשֶׁר with uh-SHER יָמ֨וּת an ya-MOOT בּ֥וֹ hand boh הִכָּ֛הוּ weapon hee-KA-hoo וַיָּמֹ֖ת of va-ya-MOTE רֹצֵ֣חַֽ wood, roh-TSAY-ha ה֑וּא wherewith hoo מ֥וֹת he mote יוּמַ֖ת may yoo-MAHT הָֽרֹצֵֽחַ׃ die, HA-roh-TSAY-ak -
גֹּאֵ֣ל revenger ɡoh-ALE הַדָּ֔ם of ha-DAHM ה֥וּא blood hoo יָמִ֖ית himself ya-MEET אֶת shall et הָֽרֹצֵ֑חַ slay ha-roh-TSAY-ak בְּפִגְעוֹ beh-feeɡ-OH ב֖וֹ the voh ה֥וּא murderer: hoo יְמִתֶֽנּוּ׃ when yeh-mee-TEH-noo -
וְאִם if veh-EEM בְּשִׂנְאָ֖ה he beh-seen-AH יֶהְדָּפֶ֑נּוּ thrust yeh-da-FEH-noo אֽוֹ him oh הִשְׁלִ֥יךְ of heesh-LEEK עָלָ֛יו hatred, ah-LAV בִּצְדִיָּ֖ה or beets-dee-YA וַיָּמֹֽת׃ hurl va-ya-MOTE -
א֣וֹ in oh בְאֵיבָ֞ה enmity veh-ay-VA הִכָּ֤הוּ smite hee-KA-hoo בְיָדוֹ֙ him veh-ya-DOH וַיָּמֹ֔ת with va-ya-MOTE מֽוֹת his mote יוּמַ֥ת hand, yoo-MAHT הַמַּכֶּ֖ה that ha-ma-KEH רֹצֵ֣חַֽ he roh-TSAY-ha ה֑וּא die: hoo גֹּאֵ֣ל he ɡoh-ALE הַדָּ֗ם that ha-DAHM יָמִ֛ית smote ya-MEET אֶת him et הָֽרֹצֵ֖חַ shall ha-roh-TSAY-ak בְּפִגְעוֹ surely beh-feeɡ-OH בֽוֹ׃ be voh -
וְאִם if veh-EEM בְּפֶ֥תַע he beh-FEH-ta בְּלֹֽא thrust beh-LOH אֵיבָ֖ה him ay-VA הֲדָפ֑וֹ suddenly huh-da-FOH אוֹ without oh הִשְׁלִ֥יךְ enmity, heesh-LEEK עָלָ֛יו or ah-LAV כָּל have kahl כְּלִ֖י cast keh-LEE בְּלֹ֥א upon beh-LOH צְדִיָּֽה׃ him tseh-dee-YA -
א֣וֹ with oh בְכָל any veh-HAHL אֶ֜בֶן stone, EH-ven אֲשֶׁר wherewith uh-SHER יָמ֥וּת a ya-MOOT בָּהּ֙ man ba בְּלֹ֣א may beh-LOH רְא֔וֹת die, reh-OTE וַיַּפֵּ֥ל seeing va-ya-PALE עָלָ֖יו him ah-LAV וַיָּמֹ֑ת not, va-ya-MOTE וְהוּא֙ and veh-HOO לֹֽא cast loh אוֹיֵ֣ב it oh-YAVE ל֔וֹ upon loh וְלֹ֥א him, veh-LOH מְבַקֵּ֖שׁ that meh-va-KAYSH רָֽעָתֽוֹ׃ he RA-ah-TOH -

וְלֹֽא ye veh-LOH תִקְח֥וּ shall teek-HOO כֹ֙פֶר֙ take HOH-FER לְנֶ֣פֶשׁ no leh-NEH-fesh רֹצֵ֔חַ satisfaction roh-TSAY-ak אֲשֶׁר for uh-SHER ה֥וּא the hoo רָשָׁ֖ע life ra-SHA לָמ֑וּת of la-MOOT כִּי a kee מ֖וֹת murderer, mote יוּמָֽת׃ which yoo-MAHT -
