എന്നാൽ സീഹോൻ തന്റെ ദേശത്തുകൂടി യിസ്രായേൽ കടന്നുപോവാൻ സമ്മതിക്കാതെ തന്റെ ജനത്തെയെല്ലാം ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂട്ടി യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ നേരെ മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവൻ യാഹാസിൽ വന്നു യിസ്രായേലിനോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു.
