അതിന്നു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ അവനോടു: ഞങ്ങൾ പെരുവഴിയിൽകൂടി പൊയ്ക്കൊള്ളാം; ഞാനും എന്റെ കന്നുകാലിയും നിന്റെ വെള്ളം കുടിച്ചുപോയാൽ അതിന്റെ വിലതരാം; കാൽനടയായി കടന്നു പോകേണമെന്നല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നും എനിക്കു വേണ്ടാ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
