യാചിക്കുന്ന ഏവന്നും ലഭിക്കുന്നു; അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവൻ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നു; മുട്ടുന്നവന്നു തുറക്കും.

அவர்கள் திரளானவர்களும் ஏனாக்கியர்களைப்போல உயரமானவர்களுமான பலத்த மக்களாயிருந்தார்கள்; கர்த்தரோ சேயீரில் குடியிருந்த ஏசாவின் சந்ததிக்கு முன்பாக ஓரியர்களை அழிக்க, அவர்கள் அந்த மக்களைத் துரத்திவிட்டு, அவர்கள் இருந்த பகுதியில் இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் குடியிருக்கிறதுபோலவும்,

பலசாலிகளான சம்சூமியர்களில் பலர் அங்கே இருந்தார்கள். ஏனாக்கிய ஜனங்களைப் போலவே அவர்களும் உயரமானவர்கள். சம்சூமியர்களை அழிக்க அம்மோனிய ஜனங்களுக்கு கர்த்தர் உதவினார். நிலங்களை வசப்படுத்திக்கொண்டு அம்மோனிய ஜனங்கள் அங்கு வசித்தார்கள்.
