ആരും ഓടിക്കാതെ അവർ വാളിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു എന്നപോലെ ഓടി ഒരുത്തന്റെ മേൽ ഒരുത്തൻ വീഴും; ശത്രുക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നില്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഴികയുമില്ല.

The sons	בְּנֵ֣י	bĕnê	beh-NAY
of Shobal;	שׁוֹבָ֔ל	šôbāl	shoh-VAHL
Alian,	עַלְיָ֧ן	ʿalyān	al-YAHN
Manahath, and	וּמָנַ֛חַת	ûmānaḥat	oo-ma-NA-haht
and Ebal,	וְעֵיבָ֖ל	wĕʿêbāl	veh-ay-VAHL
Shephi,	שְׁפִ֣י	šĕpî	sheh-FEE
Onam. and	וְאוֹנָ֑ם	wĕʾônām	veh-oh-NAHM

before were it as	כְּמִפְּנֵי	kĕmippĕnê	keh-mee-peh-NAY
a sword,	חֶ֖רֶב	ḥereb	HEH-rev
none when	וְרֹדֵ֣ף	wĕrōdēp	veh-roh-DAFE
pursueth:	אָ֑יִן	ʾāyin	AH-yeen
and ye shall have	וְלֹא	wĕlōʾ	veh-LOH
no	תִֽהְיֶ֤ה	tihĕye	tee-heh-YEH
power to stand	לָכֶם֙	lākem	la-HEM
before	תְּקוּמָ֔ה	tĕqûmâ	teh-koo-MA
your enemies.	לִפְנֵ֖י	lipnê	leef-NAY
