യോശുവ 5:6
മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട യോദ്ധാക്കളായവരൊക്കെയും യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു അനുസരിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവർ മരിച്ചൊടുങ്ങുംവരെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം മരുഭൂമിയിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു; നമുക്കു തരുമെന്നു യഹോവ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശമായി പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ദേശം അവരെ കാണിക്കയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവ അവരോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.
