പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോന്ന ജനത്തിനെല്ലാം പരിച്ഛേദന കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു എങ്കിലും മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടശേഷം മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു പ്രയാണത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചവരിൽ ആരെയും പരിച്ഛേദന ചെയ്തിരുന്നില്ല.
