യോശുവ 3:6
പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടു യോശുവ: നിങ്ങൾ നിയമപെട്ടകം എടുത്തു ജനത്തിന്നു മുമ്പായി അക്കരെ കടപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ അവർ നിയമപ്പെട്ടകം എടുത്തു ജനത്തിന്നു മുമ്പായി നടന്നു.

| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| the priests, | הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֣ים | hakkōhănîm | ha-koh-huh-NEEM |
| saying, | לֵאמֹ֔ר | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
| Take up | שְׂאוּ֙ | śĕʾû | seh-OO |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the ark | אֲר֣וֹן | ʾărôn | uh-RONE |
| of the covenant, | הַבְּרִ֔ית | habbĕrît | ha-beh-REET |
| and pass over | וְעִבְר֖וּ | wĕʿibrû | veh-eev-ROO |
| before | לִפְנֵ֣י | lipnê | leef-NAY |
| the people. | הָעָ֑ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| And they took up | וַיִּשְׂאוּ֙ | wayyiśʾû | va-yees-OO |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| ark the | אֲר֣וֹן | ʾărôn | uh-RONE |
| of the covenant, | הַבְּרִ֔ית | habbĕrît | ha-beh-REET |
| and went | וַיֵּֽלְכ֖וּ | wayyēlĕkû | va-yay-leh-HOO |
| before | לִפְנֵ֥י | lipnê | leef-NAY |
| the people. | הָעָֽם׃ | hāʿām | ha-AM |
