നിന്റെ പാത്രം ഇറക്കി എനിക്കു കുടിപ്പാൻ തരേണം എന്നു ഞാൻ പറയുമ്പോൾ: കുടിക്ക; നിന്റെ ഒട്ടകങ്ങൾക്കും കുടിപ്പാൻ കൊടുക്കാമെന്നു പറയുന്ന സ്ത്രീ തന്നേ നീ നിന്റെ ദാസനായ യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്നു നിയമിച്ചവളായിരിക്കട്ടെ; നീ എന്റെ യജമാനനോടു കൃപ ചെയ്തു എന്നു ഞാൻ അതിനാൽ ഗ്രഹിക്കും.

அவர்களில் சிலர் கர்த்தரைச் சோதித்துப்பார்த்து, பாம்புகளால் அழிக்கப்பட்டார்கள்; அதுபோல நாமும் கிறிஸ்துவைச் சோதித்துப்பார்க்காமலிருப்போமாக.

அம்மக்களில் சிலர் செய்தது போல் நாம் கர்த்தரைச் சோதித்துப் பார்க்கக் கூடாது. கர்த்தரைச் சோதித்ததால் அவர்கள் பாம்புகளினால் கொல்லப்பட்டார்கள்.

pitcher, thy	נָ֤א	nāʾ	na
I pray thee,	כַדֵּךְ֙	kaddēk	ha-dake
drink; may I that	וְאֶשְׁתֶּ֔ה	wĕʾešte	veh-esh-TEH
say, shall she and	וְאָֽמְרָ֣ה	wĕʾāmĕrâ	veh-ah-meh-RA
Drink,	שְׁתֵ֔ה	šĕtē	sheh-TAY
camels thy give will I and	וְגַם	wĕgam	veh-ɡAHM
drink	גְּמַלֶּ֖יךָ	gĕmallêkā	ɡeh-ma-LAY-ha
also:	אַשְׁקֶ֑ה	ʾašqe	ash-KEH
appointed hast thou that she be same the let	אֹתָ֤הּ	ʾōtāh	oh-TA
servant thy for	הֹכַ֙חְתָּ֙	hōkaḥtā	hoh-HAHK-TA
Isaac;	לְעַבְדְּךָ֣	lĕʿabdĕkā	leh-av-deh-HA
