ഞാൻ അരികെ നില്ക്കുന്നവരിൽ ഒരുത്തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവനോടു ഈ എല്ലാറ്റിന്റെയും സാരം ചോദിച്ചു; അവൻ കാര്യങ്ങളുടെ അർത്ഥം പറഞ്ഞുതന്നു.

ഞാൻ രാത്രിയിൽ ചുവന്ന കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പുരുഷനെ കണ്ടു; അവൻ ചോലയിലെ കൊഴുന്തുകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നിന്നു; അവന്റെ പിമ്പിൽ ചുവപ്പും കുരാൽനിറവും വെണ്മയും ഉള്ള കുതിരകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

ദാനീയേൽ 12:5
അനന്തരം ദാനീയേലെന്ന ഞാൻ നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ, മറ്റുരണ്ടാൾ ഒരുത്തൻ നദീതീരത്തു ഇക്കരെയും മറ്റവൻ നദീതീരത്തു അക്കരെയും നില്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു.

അവൻ വന്നു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ദാനീയേലേ, നിനക്കു ബുദ്ധി ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

ഒരു അഗ്നിനദി അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഒഴുകി; ആയിരമായിരം പേർ അവന്നു ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്തു; പതിനായിരം പതിനായിരം പേർ അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിന്നു; ന്യായവിസ്താരസഭ ഇരുന്നു; പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ തുറന്നു.
