ശമൂവേൽ-1 2:34
നിന്റെ രണ്ടു പുത്രന്മാരായ ഹൊഫ്നിക്കും ഫീനെഹാസിന്നും ഭവിപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്നതു നിനക്കു ഒരു അടയാളം ആകും; അവർ ഇരുവരും ഒരു ദിവസത്തിൽ തന്നേ മരിക്കും.

| on | בָנֶ֔יךָ | bānêkā | va-NAY-ha |
| Hophni | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| and Phinehas; | חָפְנִ֖י | ḥopnî | hofe-NEE |
| in one | וּפִֽינְחָ֑ס | ûpînĕḥās | oo-fee-neh-HAHS |
| day | בְּי֥וֹם | bĕyôm | beh-YOME |
| they shall die | אֶחָ֖ד | ʾeḥād | eh-HAHD |
| both | יָמ֥וּתוּ | yāmûtû | ya-MOO-too |
| of them. | שְׁנֵיהֶֽם׃ | šĕnêhem | sheh-nay-HEM |
