Lamentations 2:17
യഹോവ നിർണ്ണയിച്ചതു അനുഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; പുരാതനകാലത്തു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു നിവർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. കരുണകൂടാതെ അവൻ ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അവൻ ശത്രുവിനെ നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി സന്തോഷിപ്പിച്ചു വൈരികളുടെ കൊമ്പു ഉയർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
