Joshua 8:8
പട്ടണം പിടിച്ചശേഷം നിങ്ങൾ അതിന്നു തീ വെക്കേണം; യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യേണം; സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

| when ye have taken | כְּתָפְשְׂכֶ֣ם | kĕtopśĕkem | keh-tofe-seh-HEM |

| the city, | הָעִ֗יר | hāʿîr | ha-EER |
| that ye shall set | תַּצִּ֤יתוּ | taṣṣîtû | ta-TSEE-too |

| on fire: | בָּאֵ֔שׁ | bāʾēš | ba-AYSH |
| according to the commandment | כִּדְבַ֥ר | kidbar | keed-VAHR |
| Lord the of | יְהוָ֖ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| shall ye do. | תַּֽעֲשׂ֑וּ | taʿăśû | ta-uh-SOO |
| See, | רְא֖וּ | rĕʾû | reh-OO |
| I have commanded | צִוִּ֥יתִי | ṣiwwîtî | tsee-WEE-tee |
| you. | אֶתְכֶֽם׃ | ʾetkem | et-HEM |
