Genesis 42:28
തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടു: എന്റെ ദ്രവ്യം എനിക്കു തിരികെ കിട്ടി അതു ഇതാ, എന്റെ ചാക്കിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ അവരുടെ ഉള്ളം തളർന്നു, അവർ വിറെച്ചു: ദൈവം നമ്മോടു ഈ ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നു തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.

| and, lo, | וְגַ֖ם | wĕgam | veh-ɡAHM |
| even is it | הִנֵּ֣ה | hinnē | hee-NAY |
| in my sack: | בְאַמְתַּחְתִּ֑י | bĕʾamtaḥtî | veh-am-tahk-TEE |
| heart their and | וַיֵּצֵ֣א | wayyēṣēʾ | va-yay-TSAY |
| failed | לִבָּ֗ם | libbām | lee-BAHM |
| afraid, were they and them, | וַיֶּֽחֶרְד֞וּ | wayyeḥerdû | va-yeh-her-DOO |
| saying | אִ֤ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| one | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| to | אָחִיו֙ | ʾāḥîw | ah-heeoo |
| another, | לֵאמֹ֔ר | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
| What | מַה | ma | ma |
| is this | זֹּ֛את | zōt | zote |
| that God | עָשָׂ֥ה | ʿāśâ | ah-SA |
| hath done | אֱלֹהִ֖ים | ʾĕlōhîm | ay-loh-HEEM |
