യോശുവ വസ്ത്രം കീറി യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ അവനും യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരും തലയിൽ മണ്ണുവാരിയിട്ടുകൊണ്ടു സന്ധ്യവരെ സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു കിടന്നു:
