അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യോശുവ അവരെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു അഞ്ചു മരത്തിന്മേൽ തൂക്കി. അവർ സന്ധ്യവരെ തൂങ്ങിക്കിടന്നു.
