ആ കാലത്തു ദർശകനായ ഹനാനി യെഹൂദാ രാജാവായ ആസയുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നീ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കാതെ അരാംരാജാവിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കകൊണ്ടു അരാംരാജാവിന്റെ സൈന്യം നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു തെറ്റിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു.
