Daniel 5:17
ദാനീയേൽ രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ ഉത്തരം ഉണർത്തിച്ചതു: ദാനങ്ങൾ തിരുമേനിക്കു തന്നേ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; സമ്മാനങ്ങൾ മറ്റൊരുത്തന്നു കൊടുത്താലും; എഴുത്തു ഞാൻ രാജാവിനെ വായിച്ചുകേൾപ്പിച്ചു അർത്ഥം ബോധിപ്പിക്കാം;

| be | לָ֣ךְ | lāk | lahk |
| to thyself, and give | לֶֽהֶוְיָ֔ן | lehewyān | leh-hev-YAHN |
| thy rewards | וּנְבָ֥זְבְּיָתָ֖ךְ | ûnĕbāzĕbbĕyātāk | oo-neh-VA-zeh-beh-ya-TAHK |
| another; to | לְאָחֳרָ֣ן | lĕʾāḥŏrān | leh-ah-hoh-RAHN |
| yet | הַ֑ב | hab | hahv |
| I will read | בְּרַ֗ם | bĕram | beh-RAHM |
| the writing | כְּתָבָא֙ | kĕtābāʾ | keh-ta-VA |
| king, the unto | אֶקְרֵ֣א | ʾeqrēʾ | ek-RAY |
| and make known | לְמַלְכָּ֔א | lĕmalkāʾ | leh-mahl-KA |
| to him the interpretation. | וּפִשְׁרָ֖א | ûpišrāʾ | oo-feesh-RA |
