2 Samuel 14:6
എന്നാൽ അടിയന്നു രണ്ടു പുത്രന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവർ വയലിൽവെച്ചു തമ്മിൽ കലഹിച്ചു; അവരെ പിടിച്ചുമാറ്റുവാൻ ആരും ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ഒരുത്തൻ മറ്റവനെ അടിച്ചുകൊന്നു.

| sons, | בָנִ֔ים | bānîm | va-NEEM |
| two they and | וַיִּנָּצ֤וּ | wayyinnāṣû | va-yee-na-TSOO |
| strove together | שְׁנֵיהֶם֙ | šĕnêhem | sheh-nay-HEM |
| in the field, | בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה | baśśāde | ba-sa-DEH |
| none was there and | וְאֵ֥ין | wĕʾên | veh-ANE |
| to part | מַצִּ֖יל | maṣṣîl | ma-TSEEL |
| בֵּֽינֵיהֶ֑ם | bênêhem | bay-nay-HEM | |
| one the but them, | וַיַּכּ֧וֹ | wayyakkô | va-YA-koh |
| smote | הָֽאֶחָ֛ד | hāʾeḥād | ha-eh-HAHD |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the other, | הָֽאֶחָ֖ד | hāʾeḥād | ha-eh-HAHD |
| and slew | וַיָּ֥מֶת | wayyāmet | va-YA-met |
