2 Samuel 12:31
അവിടത്തെ ജനത്തെയും അവൻ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അവരെ ഈർച്ചവാളിന്നും മെതിവണ്ടിക്കും കോടാലിക്കും ആക്കി; അവരെക്കൊണ്ടു ഇഷ്ടികച്ചൂളയിലും വേല ചെയ്യിച്ചു; അമ്മോന്യരുടെ എല്ലാ പട്ടണങ്ങളോടും അവൻ അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്തു. പിന്നെ ദാവീദും സകല ജനവും യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോന്നു.

| saws, under them | הוֹצִ֗יא | hôṣîʾ | hoh-TSEE |
| and under harrows | וַיָּ֣שֶׂם | wayyāśem | va-YA-sem |
| of iron, | בַּ֠מְּגֵרָה | bammĕgērâ | BA-meh-ɡay-ra |
| axes under and | וּבַֽחֲרִצֵ֨י | ûbaḥăriṣê | oo-va-huh-ree-TSAY |
| of iron, | הַבַּרְזֶ֜ל | habbarzel | ha-bahr-ZEL |
| through pass them made and | וּֽבְמַגְזְרֹ֣ת | ûbĕmagzĕrōt | oo-veh-mahɡ-zeh-ROTE |
| הַבַּרְזֶ֗ל | habbarzel | ha-bahr-ZEL | |
| the brickkiln: | וְהֶֽעֱבִ֤יר | wĕheʿĕbîr | veh-heh-ay-VEER |
| and thus | אוֹתָם֙ | ʾôtām | oh-TAHM |
| did | בַּמַּלְכֵּ֔ן | bammalkēn | ba-mahl-KANE |
| he unto all | וְכֵ֣ן | wĕkēn | veh-HANE |
| the cities | יַֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה | yaʿăśe | ya-uh-SEH |
| children the of | לְכֹ֖ל | lĕkōl | leh-HOLE |
| of Ammon. | עָרֵ֣י | ʿārê | ah-RAY |
| So David | בְנֵֽי | bĕnê | veh-NAY |
| all and | עַמּ֑וֹן | ʿammôn | AH-mone |
| the people | וַיָּ֧שָׁב | wayyāšob | va-YA-shove |
| returned | דָּוִ֛ד | dāwid | da-VEED |
| unto Jerusalem. | וְכָל | wĕkāl | veh-HAHL |
| הָעָ֖ם | hāʿām | ha-AM | |
| יְרֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ | yĕrûšāloim | yeh-ROO-sha-loh-EEM |
