പിന്നെ യോവാബും കൂടെയുള്ള ജനവും അരാമ്യരോടു പടെക്കു അടുത്തു; അവർ അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു ഓടിപ്പോയി.

| battle the unto him, | לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה | lammilḥāmâ | la-meel-ha-MA |
| against the Syrians: | בַּֽאֲרָ֑ם | baʾărām | ba-uh-RAHM |
| fled they and | וַיָּנֻ֖סוּ | wayyānusû | va-ya-NOO-soo |
