എന്നാൽ യോരാംരാജാവിന്റെ മകളും അഹസ്യാവിന്റെ സഹോദരിയുമായ യെഹോശേബ കൊല്ലപ്പെടുന്ന രാജാകുമാരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നിന്നു അഹസ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോവാശിനെ മോഷ്ടിച്ചെടുത്തു അവനെയും അവന്റെ ധാത്രിയെയും അഥല്യാ കണാതെ ഒരു ശയനഗൃഹത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി ഒളിപ്പിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ ഇടയായില്ല.
